Annette Murphy, director of Santosha Yoga Center regularly works one on one
with all levels of students. Working one on one can address a wide range of
concerns.
Some of the more obvious reasons to consider working privately are
as follows.
If you are intimidated at the prospect of starting Yoga in a class setting.
Working one on one will demystify the process. You will be introduced to the
basics of Iyengar yoga and very specifically be guided to work at your pace
and level. Annette will teach you how to best modify the poses to suit your
particular needs and will cover everything you can expect in a class
setting.
Learn to develop a deeper understanding of your Practice
If you are practicing Yoga already and would like more guidance with a pose
or a set of poses working one on one is the ideal way to begin to develop a
deeper understanding on what may be holding you back from performing a
particular pose with ease and stability.
Taking your Practice to the next level—developing a Home Practice
If you have been taking yoga classes for a year or more the next natural
step is to begin a home practice. There can be many obstacles to starting
this process but they are worth overcoming. A home practice will take you
into a much deeper level of yoga experience and more full enrich your life.
Annette will guide you through those first steps of learning to practice at
home.
